Sunday River Golf Club

Hole #10, Sunday River Golf Club

Hole #10, Sunday River Golf Club

Embedded in the Western Maine mountains, the Sunday
River Golf Club is well worth the three
hour drive from Boston. Robert Trent Jones
II designed the course, which weaves its
way through mountainous terrain surrounded by the
Mahoosuc Range in Newry. Those on the hunt for
challenging golf and panoramas that would make
Andrew Wyeth pause will not be disappointed.
The course landed on Golf Magazine’s list of the top 100
courses you can play in the U.S. and Golfweek has named it the No. 1 course in
Maine every year since it opened. The nearby Sunday River Mountain Bike
Park offers 28 trails and over 25 miles of lift serviced
riding with varying difficulty levels and terrain.
Sunday River offers vacationers a selection
of more than 700 condominiums, two full-service
Grand Resort Hotels, or the comfy Snow Cap Inn.
